Sydney Confidential's Briana Domjen catches up with Megan Gale on the red carpet at at the David Jones autumn winter collections launch.
MEGAN Gale has given birth to a healthy baby boy, the model announced on Instagram.
Gale and her AFL player boyfriend Shaun Hampson welcomed their son River Alan Thomas Hampson yesterday afternoon.
"We finally chose a name for our little man - River Alan Thomas Hampson. Rivers is my Mums maiden name, Alan after my Dad, Thomas for Shaun's Dad and the last name just like his Daddy's," Gale wrote on Instagram.
"Our precious little 3.87kg (8.5 pound) man came into the world yesterday on the 13th of May 2014 at 4.47pm," Gale wrote alongside a picture of the newborn's little hand intertwined with theirs.
"Needless to say, Shaun and I are completely smitten with him and we're beyond blessed to have such a healthy baby.
"Words can't even come close to describing how we're feeling right now and more so, how it felt to hear, hold and meet this beautiful soul for the first time.
"We love you little man and are SO thrilled to be your parents."

The 38-year-old spoke in January this year about the pressure she felt to fall pregnant and her initail concerns about the 13-year age gap between herself and Hampson.
"Him being the age he was I did wonder about it. But he's the most mature guy I've dated, he's an old soul," she told WHO magazine of her partner who plays AFL for Richmond.
She said the pair chose to find out the sex of the child during the pregnancy, but didn't tell anyone.

"I had an intuitive feeling about the sex, and so did Shaun, and we were right," she said. "I'm so excited to meet this baby, and see how it changes me, and Shaun and I as a couple."
Gale posed semi-naked on the cover of Marie Claire magazine at 30 weeks, describing the photo shoot as "liberating".
She told the mag that she plans to take six months maternity leave.
"It's really important to connect with the baby and be hands on, and I really wanted to throw myself into that role of motherhood.
"I applaud women who go back to work immediately because I think it must be hard to juggle it.
"I'm really fortunate I"m in the position where I can take time off. I really do want to switch off from everything."
