GONE Girl? More like go, girl!
British actor Rosamund Pike — who shot to superstardom this year in the film Gone Girl — has stepped out in a stunning minidress only a month after giving birth for the second time.
Pike showed off her impeccable post-baby figure in a high-collared, billowy floral frock on the red carpet at the Palm Springs Film Festival Awards Gala.
She picked up the award for Breakthrough Actress, even though she's been a staple on the big screen since starring as a Bond girl in Die Another Day in 2002.

The 35-year-old welcomed a second son with long-time love Robie Uniacke on December 2.
The couple also has a two-year-old son called Solo.

The birth caps a big year for Pike. Her role as Amy Dunne in Gone Girl puts her on a near-certain trajectory for a maiden Oscar nomination in the coming months.
She took on the daunting task of bringing the troubled character to life in David Fincher's celebrated film adaptation of Gillian Flynn's blockbuster novel of the same name.
In addition to her win at the Palm Springs festival, she has also scooped Golden Globe and SAG nominations for the film — both considered important precursors to the Academy Awards.

At the upcoming Golden Globes, the awards season newcomer will compete for the Best Actress prize against Gone Girl's producer Reese Witherspoon (for the film Wild) and Julianne Moore (for the film Still Alice).
Witherspoon and Moore were also among the big names at the star-studded Palm Springs awards night.
