WE'VE witnessed naked dating, sat through episodes of Sex Box and eyeballed more embarrassing bodies than we'd care to admit.

But a few words no one EVER wants to hear in a sentence together — let alone the name of a TV show — is My Granny The Escort.

And yet, the no-holds-barred British documentary will air on Channel 9 tonight, taking viewers inside the world of elderly call girls and exploring the hidden truths behind pensioner sex for sale.

Yes, that's right. Pensioner. Sex. For sale.

The program features three grandmothers: Sheila (84), Beverley (64) and Sophie (57) — all three sell sex from hotel rooms or their homes. The brazen senior citizens maintain the main reason they pursue sex work is simply because they enjoy it.

Sheila, who has been working as an escort for the last four years since her second husband passed away, told Kiis FM hosts Kyle and Jackie O that she's "always loved sex" when quizzed by the radio duo as to how she got into this line of work.

"I became lonely and was looking (on) the internet and I saw an agency that advertised for older escorts and I thought, well ... I decided that I would try this out because I've always loved sex and I've always loved to keep a man happy."

The pensioner pockets an impressive $450 an hour and entertains up to 10 clients a week — some as young as 20.

"The services that I offer is that I will give a man lots of love and affection and end up with intercourse. Always take protection of course, that's very, very important and women should get checked out, always," Sheila added.

In the rest of the interview she spoke matter-of-factly about her very first customer, shaving, "going down there", fantasies and threesomes — no subject was off limits and it certainly gave us some insight into how tonight's docco is going to play out.

I know one viewer who will be switching off after House Husbands on Channel 9 tonight, and it seems I'm not alone.
