Gwyn consciously re-coupling?

Gwyneth Paltrow has announced that she and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin are splitting up.

THEY famously announced the end of their ten-year marriage with a statement that coined a new term for breakups.

But Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, it seems, may be on the verge of consciously re-coupling.

According to Britain's Mirror newspaper, the star couple's split has led them to reassess their relationship and they have now put their divorce plans on hold.

Pictures of the Hollywood actor and Coldplay frontman giggling and looking loved-up at a restaurant in Malibu have popped up on the Instagram account of a fellow diner.

Looking more like a flirty couple than an estranged husband and wife, Paltrow cosies up to Martin as she shows him something on her mobile phone.

Last-ditch bid ... time apart has reportedly made Gwyneth Paltrow realise that she wants to save her marriage.

Perhaps they were looking at pictures of their kids, 10-year-old daughter Apple and eight-year-old son Moses.

Either way, their body language suggests that despite their shock split in March, the high-profile couple's marriage may not be over.

Paltrow and Martin, who were thought to have one of the strongest unions in showbiz, announced their separation in a statement titled 'Conscious Uncoupling' on the actress's GOOP website.

They wrote: "It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate.

"We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate.

"We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been.

"We have always conducted our relationship privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and co-parent, we will be able to continue in the same manner."
