ONLINE dating isn't the easiest game to play.

It can be full of rejection, mixed messages and, let's face it, it's bloody hard to make a genuine connection.

But one bloke says he is here to solve all your online dating problems. All for the low price of $9.50 an hour.

Matthew Valentines (yes, that's his real name) is the creator of personaldatingassistants.com, an online service where men can employ "dating assistants" to help them successfully land a date with an "attractive woman".

Like ordering your groceries online or 24-hour collectable dry cleaning, Personal Dating Assistant's jewel in its marketing crown is convenience.

The dating assistant will set up your profile on the dating site of your choice, source and contact potential dates and exchange phone numbers with interested parties — all without you lifting a finger.

"Dating online for men is an oasis in theory," reads PDA's website. "But managing profiles, sending messages, and making connections is a major hassle in reality.

"You're a busy guy. Between work, and all the other things you have to do, there's no time to meet enough women the old fashioned way."

Only men can using the dating service. Users are divided into types such as "bad boy" and "successful and established", which helps the "assistants" to match them with a like-minded lady. Some of the categories used to group women include "attention whore" and "material girl". Classy.

But despite his cringe-worthy misogyny-disguised-as-helpfulness routine, Mr Valentines says he genuinely wants to help men find love.

"This business is a response to a great cultural trend toward convenience in dating," Mr Valentines told The Washington Post .

"We have more methods of correspondence than ever before, but it's harder to make a genuine connection … People feel more disconnected than ever. It should be the opposite."
